Who We Are

Ripples of Hope Initiative is a non-profit organization in Uganda established in 2021 to provide educational access for children, skills mentorship for youth, and economic opportunities for women in underserved communities. Founded by Eva Mutesi and Eddy Balina, the organization aims to combat poverty and illiteracy exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic through community mobilization. Join us in creating a future where everyone has equal access to education, skills training, and economic empowerment for stronger communities.

OUR OBJECTIVES 

To provide quality formal education to children in underserved communities.

 

To empower at-risk youth with vocational skills and mentorship

 

To empower single mothers and women with business skills and microloans

OUR IMPACT 

  • 302 CHILDREN ENROLLED INTO SCHOOL  AND RECEIVE MEALS AND MEDICARE

  • 37 MICRO-LOANS DISBURSED TO EMPOWER WOMEN IN BUSINESS

  • 300 YOUNG PEOPLE MENTORED

  • 112 YOUTH & WOMEN EQUIPPED IN VOCATIONAL SKILLS & BUSINESS

Our Mission

OUR LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE

Ripples of Hope Initiative [Rohi Uganda] is a registered non-profit organization under the laws of Government of Uganda.  Our leadership structure is comprised of 3 levels. 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

They meet quarterly to oversee, direct and make key decisions for the organization.  The Board is comprised of 4 Directors ~ Mr. Peter Ogik, Ms. Mebra Baidhukira, Mr. Eddy Balina, Ms. Eva Mutesi. 

EXECUTIVE TEAM

These are incharge of implementation and all operation The Team is Comprised of the Executive Director, Operations Director, Head Teacher, Teachers, Field Officers and Support Staff, currently 19 staff. 

VOLUNTEERS & PARTNERS 

We leverage the power of volunteering and strategic partnership. we welcome individuals and organisations to collaborate intorder  to achieve a common vision of a transformed community of holistically empowered and thriving young people and women.
